Dr. Lie-Ying Periu, the founder of Periu Family Dentistry, is proud to serve the Melbourne community she has called home her entire life. Born and raised locally, she graduated from Eau Gallie High School before attending the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Her undergraduate years at UF sparked a lifelong passion for oral healthcare, leading her to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. A Thoughtful, Conservative Approach to Care Dr. Periu believes that exceptional dentistry should be conservative, precise, and highly personalized. She focuses on effective, long-lasting, and minimally invasive treatments—always putting her patients’ comfort, unique goals, and overall well-being first.
